Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion (EMHC) perform a very important ministry in the Church. Homebound ministers serve our local parish in a unique way by bringing our Lord to parishioners who are unable to join us at mass. The Eucharist is the source and the summit of our Catholic faith and the participation in this ministry either as a minister or a recipient displays the fullness of God coming to his people where they are.
As many of our parishioners become separated from us, and their ability to attend mass in person is diminished, we gladly offer our Ministry of Communion for the Homebound. Our Ministers are a special breed. As the only parish in the 2nd largest county in Colorado, our ministers happily serve those unable to join us due to a host of reasons.
Should you or a family member find yourself unable to attend regular Sunday mass in person, and desire communion with our Lord Jesus Christ, please reach out to the Parish office and allow us to bring the Word and the Eucharist to you.
