Catholic cemeteries are an extension of our faith. They are a visible connection between the faithful and the departed, for even in death we are a community of faith. Our grounds have been blessed by the bishop of our diocese and are considered holy ground; therefore, the deceased interred or entombed here have been laid to rest in a sacred and spiritual environment, as called for in Catholic teaching. Catholic cemeteries honor the continued presence and memories of loved ones whose lives were important to God and to us and remind us that one day we too will receive eternal life through Christ. In accordance with burying the dead as a corporal act of mercy, no Catholic is denied burial in a Catholic cemetery.
Each grave marker at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery represents a final tribute to a person and the memories of that person's life. The collective memories represented by markers within a cemetery, tell much of the story of a community's past.
An Endowment Fund (of 100% of the burial space sales) is set aside to maintain the operational and perpetual care of the cemetery grounds.
Burial Plot Options
Full-Size In-Ground Plot ($2,500)
- 5' x 10' Lawn Plot
- Single Casket or Multiple (up to 2) Cremation Urn's
- Opening and Closing will be discussed and coordinated by the parish/cemetery office and the respective funeral home during the initial funeral arrangements planning meeting(s).
- Visit our Online Map to find an available Plot. If you find a plot, complete a contract and contact office.
Urn Garden ($1,500)
- 2.5' x 2.5' Lawn Plot in one of our designated Urn Garden's
- One Cremation Urn per plot
- There is a $300 Fee for opening and closing Urn Garden plots (to be paid to Cemetery).
- Opening and Closing will be discussed and coordinated by the parish/cemetery office and the respective funeral home during the initial funeral arrangements planning meeting(s).
- Visit our Online Map to find an available Plot. If you find a plot, complete a contract and contact office.
Columbarium Niche ($2,500)
- 1' x 1' above ground columbarium niche
- Multiple (Up to 2) Cremation Urns
- There is a $250 Fee for the 2nd opening (No cost for 1st opening) and closing of a Columbarium Niche (to be paid to Cemetery).
- Opening and Closing will be discussed and coordinated by the parish/cemetery office and the respective funeral home during the initial funeral arrangements planning meeting(s).
- There is a $300 fee for the engraving of the person's name on the niche granite stone face plate. Please fill in this Engraving Form for the inscription order. The payment needs to accompany the completed order form please, to process the requested work
- Note regarding size and double urn burials in Columbarium Niche.
- Visit our Online Map to find an available Plot. If you find a plot, complete a contract and contact office.
Other Notes
- Any monument/memorial needs to be approved and coordinated via Church office.
- Front of all monument/headstone needs to face east on west end of grave.
- By purchasing a plot, you are agreeing to purchasing a gravestone within 60 days of burial.

*Amount must be paid in-full (credit card, cash or check) to the QOH Cemetery at the time of need through the OLV Parish Office. We do offer a monthly or other recurring payment plan for pre-need purchases only.

We offer the following services:
- In-Ground Burial (Interment): Choose a space to secure your future generations an eternal and peaceful resting place with family. Caskets must be placed in a vault for below ground burials. Only single-deep, casket burials are permitted; we are unable to accommodate double-deep burial requests any longer.
- Cremated Remains Burial (Inurnment): Urns may be placed in a Columbarium niche (above ground) or in an Urn Garden plot (below ground).
Perpetual Care
Queen of Heaven Cemetery is a perpetual care cemetery. 100% of the cost of your burial and resting space is restricted to the Queen of Heaven Cemetery Endowment Fund for all future maintenance and perpetual care of this cemetery's grounds. This ensures that our Queen of Heaven Cemetery will be well maintained and cared for, for future generations.
The perpetual care fee is included in the prices noted above.
Pre-Need Planning
We strive to help families pre-plan and prepare before the actual time of need. When you plan ahead:
You can do so together as a family, relieving the anxiety and stress on a surviving spouse or sibling(s), while minimizing expenses and giving reassurance that the plans are just right and exactly what you would have wanted.
Children are not forced to make agonizing decisions for their parents, to try to cover funeral expenses at the time of need, or unfortunately have disagreements among siblings and/or relatives over what "Mom (and Dad) would have really wanted".
When you make your cemetery space purchase in advance, the price is locked (i.e., frozen and never changes). No matter how high the prices are in the future (at this or neighboring cemeteries), your family's cost stays the same. The only cost that cannot be pre-planned or pre-paid is that of the cemetery's opening and closing fees (which is paid at the time of need).
To help you purchase your space before the need arises, we have several different payment options available. We currently accept credit/debit cards, cash, checks, and money orders. There are also installment payment plans available.
